For Today....August 25, 2008
Outside My Window....I see bright sun on a pale blue sky and a backyard that needs to be mowed soon
I am thinking....I need to be getting DH up soon, he is having his shockwave treatment this morning for his kidney stone
I am thankful for....new experiences and new ways to grow - DH and I went to our first Community group meeting of our church last night, we joined a young couples group, very nice and should be a great experience for us
From the kitchen....a refrigerator that works! Now to get it finally squared away and get groceries for the first time in 3 weeks
I am wearing....my nightshirt, I need to get ready for the day - I am thinking some comfy yoga pants and a tshirt since I will be spending most of the day in a waiting room while DH has his procedure
I am reading....Blind Promises by Diana Palmer, I finished Changing Habits by Debbie Macomber this weekend
I am hoping.....that DH's procedure goes swiftly and no complications, I will be a nervous wreck during it but I will be sure to show a face of strength for DH
I am creating....a slowly but surely a put together home, I have to get a bunch of things we still have over at the apartment and do the final walk-through but that is it
I am hearing....the A/C run in our house and my fingers type over the keyboard
Around the house....is silence, getting back to normal after no longer having the pugs....longing for the long Labor Day weekend to finally get things put away and situated
One of my favorite things....is being so engrossed in a new book and not wanting to do anything else until you have finished it
A Few Plans for the Rest of the Week....DH's procedure today, tomorrow day of rest for him to recover, back to work on Wednesday, cleaning out apartment and doing walk-through and anxiously awaiting the long holiday weekend
Here is a Picture Thought I am Sharing With You:

These are the three goals of our church, Keystone Church - they have them painted on the front steps for everyone to see as you enter the church

Hope your husband's procedure goes well.
I LOVE pugs, I have two of my own :)
You're the second person who has mentioned Yoga pants. I want to know what they are?
I've had kidney stones so I understand the pain your man has been sufferning. Hopefully this procedure will be over by now and he's feeling much better.

Hello sister Becky. I'm half way through Eclipse. If you want to wait, maybe we can read the last book together. Give me a few days. :)
Hope your husband's kidneys are ok. I've had kidney problems my whole life and I know how painful it is.
