For Today....Monday, October 13th, 2008

Outside My Window...I am hoping for some rain this afternoon but mostly a mid-80s Texas "fall" day

I am thinking...I need to accept what I cannot change and stop focusing on the negative

I am thankful for....my husband who continually astounds me with his love and support, my re-established friendship with my college roomie, Steffany, and another day to try and make God smile

From the kitchen...not sure of anything, really busy this weekend

I am wearing....a brown 3/4 length shirt with embroidered flowers on the lapel with khaki colored slacks and flip flops

I am reading....Nicholas' Sparks' new book, The Lucky One

I am hoping....that God will grant me the serenity and peace that I am so striving for and that God will allow hubby to find a more fulfilling and rewarding job

I am creating...hopefully a swap package from the swap-bot.com site (thanks Steffany for telling me about it and your help!)

I am hearing....my fingers type, the A/C run and some guys talking up front

Around the house....pretty clean, thanks to hubby, some laundry to do and some fall decor to put up

One of My Favorite Things...to realize and reaffirm myself with the blessings I have been given

A Few Plans for the Rest of the Week....laundry, watching Big Bang Theory tonight and Biggest Loser tomorrow night, reading, and relaxing with hubby
