Only 15 more days until Christmas!

Can you believe it? Christmas is almost here! This month certainly has flown by, at least for me. All our decorations are up, the Christmas cards are on their way to friends and family, been listening to Christmas music on way to work and my work's Christmas party is this Saturday. Time sure is flying.

I am 99% completed with my Christmas shopping. I still have to get my brother's gift (I do know what I am getting though) and I have to finish hubby's. I need to come up with one more inexpensive gift to get him....anyone have any ideas for a sports fanatic who can't think of any DVDs or music that they want? I think my Christmas shopping for him would be so much easier if he was a movie fanatic like me. Oh well! Something will hit me, I am sure.

On top of that we have our Secret Santa gift exchange at work on the 18th. Luckily for me I drew the CFO of the company's name, who also happens to be my great aunt! So I should be finished with her gift this weekend. Everyone else have their gifts done and all wrapped? I would love to be able to handmake some gifts but I am not that crafty yet...for some wonderful gifts that you can drool over, head to Ally Jo's blog or to Ashlie's. Way to go girls!!

Every year I long for this time of the year to come and then when it finally does, it seems to go by SO fast! I wish we all could enjoy it and savor the feeling that it brings. What is on your Christmas list this year? Anything in particular? I didn't ask for anything for me, particularly. Hubby and I have had a hard fall this year and we are looking forward to a new year and hopefully a new start for hubby, work-wise. So I guess what I would love for Christmas this year would be a new job and a new start for hubby - he deserves it.

But one thing I would secretly love to receive is.........

My Own Girly Pink Christmas Tree!!!!!

I would like that tree too. I can see much in it, I could do with it. 15 more days. Yikes. I'm not done with all my gifts. Holy smokes, I better stay focused.

I'm on dial up deep in the dark, dark woods of Missouri. I hope this post gets through. Thank you for your sweet comments and your friendship. Pray for us as we travel today down to Texas, over the river and through the woods and icy highways to Grandmother's empty house we go. *sniff* OK, enough of that sadness. Have a happy Christmas. I won't have time to meet you this trip, but as soon as we get home in January, we'll be turning around and driving back to start going through her things. We'll be there a long time. We'll get together then, and maybe go fabric shopping. Yippee. God bless you and Merry Christmas.
