Another week has ended, another weekend begins. This week seems to have gone by in a flash and it is even harder to think that August starts on Sunday. Hubby and I talked today and we are going to start being extra frugal and tight with our money, even more than we are. We would like to be able to get as much money saved as possible. I was blessed with a $100 spot bonus today at work for a customer's email that was sent into the general sales manager saying what a good job I am doing. We were thankful for that and we made sure the bonus money went right into savings. It is going to be tougher on us but we know we can do it. We have a good reason that we both want to save as much money as possible. In the meantime we have to be extremely frugal and creative with groceries, birthday gifts and extra spending. In fact, we aren't going to be doing much outside spending but when we do it will be on sale or clearance only. I am using this time to catch up on my reading and books I have bought that have been waiting to read. Actually, I have already read 3 books this week so far and I will probably start another one tomorrow afternoon after work. Oh yeah, we are working every other Saturday for 4-5 hours to help get some extra money as well. So I guess what I mean to say is.....let the saving begin!Friday, July 30, 2010

Are you a coupon clipper? I have some quick simple coupon advice. Don't use them right away. Most itmes with coupons go on sale the week the coupon comes out. If you hold it for another week or two most of those items will go on a better sale and you'll save more.
