I love to read, I always have lots and lots of books around me. I have a 2-shelf, deep bookcase in our bedroom that has nothing but my books on it. I know these days are all about the electronic book reader like the Kindle by Amazon or the Nook by Barnes and Noble but I just don't like it. My parents bought me a Kindle and it is very cool but there is just something about holding and reading a book. I love to see the fun, bright and interesting book covers and I could easily spend hours in Barnes and Noble, Half Price Books or Borders. I have always loved books from the time I was little. In fact, I started reading at age 2 - first thing I read was a Sears advertisement from the newspaper. My father was so proud!Once I get really into a book, I normally finish it within a day or so, depending on my work and home schedule. I started this book - See Jane Score by Rachel Gibson - on Monday. I only read about 2-3 chapters on Monday but I finished it yesterday. It is a really fun, great read! The main character is Jane Alcott and she is a journalist wannabe who also writes a single girl column for her local newspaper and in secret writes a column for guys in one of their magazines. In a twist of fate, she is recruited to write about the Seattle Chinooks, a made-up NHL hockey club and she is required to cover all their games and go on the road with them. Needless to say they don't want her there, they think she is bad luck and even worse to them is that the only color she wears is all black. She tries to fit in but ends up butting heads with the goalie, Luc Martineau. And then a twist of fate transforms Jane for one night at a hockey gala and Luc is shocked to find out how gorgeous Jane is and even more so what an amazing woman she is. She begins to assist him with his tense situation with his younger sister as well as other things in his life....but then something comes up and threatens to tear them apart, leaving us to wonder if Jane will "score" herself a goalie?
I highly recommend this book! It was great fun and I will be looking for more books by Rachel Gibson to read.

I have to agree with you. The actual book is sooo much better than an electronic version.
