On to Next Step

Yesterday I received the information I was so waiting to hear from my doctor. We are good to go on our dream of starting our family. I was so worried that my doctor might have concerns and she didn't have a single one. She explained that things happen differently for each couple and some people are blessed on their first try and others take longer. In fact she told me that she was on birth control pills for 17 years and then the first month she was off, she got pregnant. I was shocked and encouraged to hear this. She gave me prenatal vitamins to start taking in preparation and gave me a prescription of them as well. She said whenever you and your husband want to, you are good to go and she said "hope to see you soon!" That was perfect, that was just what we wanted to hear. After talking to my husband, we have decided to start trying in October. We think it would be better for us if we had another two months to put more money away before we actively start trying. So now I just have to try and be patient until October. I know patience is a virtue and it is one that I have to constantly work on so it might be hard for me. Just have to remember...."Have patience with all things, but first of all with yourself." ~~ St. Francis de Sales
